The National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association was formed in 1958 to serve the ornamental and miscellaneous metals industry. Today we have nearly 600 members across the U.S. and in over a dozen foreign countries. Our members produce the full spectrum of ornamental and miscellaneous metalwork, ranging from railings to driveway gates, and from sculpture to light structural steel.

NOMMA's largest event is the METALfab convention and trade show, which typically takes place every year in March or April at different cities around the U.S. We also publish the industry's trade magazine, Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metal Fabricator, which goes out to 9,000 shops.

We are particularly proud of our Technical Affairs Division and our NOMMA Education Foundation, which were both launched in 2001. The Technical Affairs Division provides technical support to members, produces bulletins and technical materials, and actively represents the industry on various code, standards, and government committees. The NOMMA Education Foundation offers publications and sales aids to the industry, publishes a bimonthly fabrication newsletter, and regularly produces educational videos.

NOMMA is strongly committed to improving the industry through education and advocacy work. We are also dedicated to educating owners and the design/build community on the many advantages or ornamental and miscellaneous metalwork.

Our Mission Statement:

The National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association serves its members and advances the industry through education and the promotion of a positive business environment.

Our Purpose:

To promote the common business interest of those engaged in the ornamental and miscellaneus metals industry.

Our Big Goal:

To deliver outstanding programs and services to our membership, resulting in competitive advantages and industry excellence within the ornamental, architectural, and miscellaneous metalworking community.
